Håfa Adai! Welcome to Inarajan, a land division on the southeast corner of the Island of Guam, in the Marianas Islands. A place of quiet beauty and rich Chamorro tradition, Inarajan nestles between Mount Sasalåguan and the Talofofo cliffline. Inarajan is "Inalåhan" in the indigenous Chamorro language. (The "å" indicates an "ah" sound, where the regular "a" is more like "a" as in the English word "bat.") We have been asked to use the more commonly known Spanish-style spellings, but be mindful, please, that our Guides may sometimes say "Inalåhan." Pacific Worlds welcomes you to explore this beautiful place through a series of eight thematic topics. Within each of these, you will find short, focused sections exploring particular aspects within that theme. Provided also are bibliographies and links to external sites that will teach you more about the topics discussed. Before you begin, use this home page to familiarize yourself with basic geographic information about Inarajan:
