Included in this site are resources for cultural learning, listings of Kaua‘i community groups, bibliographies on Hawaiian culture, and much more. The Hawaii State Planning Office's Kauai General Map Module http://gis.state.hi.us/Isa1/Kauai.htm is a remarkable mapping resource using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology to display data in layers. You can choose what information you wish to display, from physical to economic geography, and the map is updated. Information is for the entire island of Kaua‘i only. This is a frames-based site.

Kaua‘i General Plan Update http://www.kauaigov.org/Planning/generalplan.htm offers a broad and comprehensive administrative plan for the entire island.

Virtually Hawaii: Kauai Field Trip http://www.kauaigov.org/Planning/generalplan.htm is a site out of the University of Hawai‘i that combines air and ground photography with maps and text, in its aim to provide "virtual field trip" on Kaua‘i.
